Stainless Steel Fittings

Stainless Steel Clamp FittingsStainless Steel Clamp Fittings

Stainless steel clamp fittings from 1” – 4” are manufactured to BS4825 : Part 3. The clamp union is crevice free and is designed for quick and easy assembly without the use of tools. Used extensively throughout the food, beverage, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, our comprehensive range of clamp fittings covers sizes from ½” through to 12” and encompasses most of the internationally recognised standards.

DIN 11851 FittingsDIN 11851 Fittings

DIN fittings (Deutsches Institut für Normung) are used extensively in Germany and throughout Europe in many hygienic industries. Manufactured to DIN 11851, the union is available in both metric and imperial sizes and DIN 11850 tube is also offered in sizes from 10mm to 305mm. The seals are available in two forms, the flanged or lipped design which provides a flush fitting and crevice free joint, or the more commonly used unlipped seal.

RJT FittingsRJT Fittings

RJT fittings (Ring Joint Type) are used extensively throughout the UK in many of the hygienic industries and are a popular fitting for frequently dismantled sections of pipework. This system’s key features are its robust design and forgiving ability to take up slight misalignment in process pipework.

RJT FittingsPlain Ended Fittings

Plain ended components are offered to complement our range of stainless steel fittings and hygienic unions. Our standard range includes 45º and 90º bends, equal and reducing tees, concentric and eccentric reducers and a wide range of tube and pipe to fit both Imperial and DIN fittings.

BSP Fittings BSP Fittings

BSP (British Standard Pipe) fittings are generally available from 1/8” up to 4” sizes (dimensions in accordance with BS 1740) and are manufactured in 316 stainless steel. Adaptors are available from male or female BSP and also NPT to clamp, flange, IDF, RJT, DIN or SMS. BSP fittings are not considered hygienic due to the presence of threads and crevice conditions in the product flow. When biological considerations are not critical, such as in the chemical industry, these fittings are a cost effective way of directing flows and joining pipework.
Our BSP range includes:

  • BS21 threaded parts
  • BSP (taper) barrel nipples and welding nipples, BSP (parallel) full and half sockets
  • BSP (taper) plugs in hollow and solid section are available with hexagonal or square heads
  • BSP elbows, tees, and crosses, unions, backnuts, reducing bushes, nipples and sockets

Stainless Steel Flanges

Stainless Steel FlangesA flange can be generally classified as a plate, forging or cast ring that is used to join sections of tube, pipe or items of plant such as a pump or valve. There are a number of different standards applicable to flanges commonly used in industry today. The three which are most frequently requested are, BS 4504, ANSI B 16.5 and BS10 (Tables D and E). Flanges are usually welded in position or are fitted loose on a Lap Joint Swivel Stub. However, there are a great variety of options available in the form of each flange including threaded, blind, weld neck and slip-on. Please refer to our technical department for advice.

  • BS 4504 1989, including PN 2.5 to 40 Bar.
  • ANSI B 16.5 flanges, including 150lb to 1500lb.
  • Sizes available from ½” to 24” .
  • Lap joint stub ends.
  • Fastners such as bolts and studs.
  • Seals available in Silicone, EPDM, Nitrile and PTFE encapsulated materials.
